Aitong Church, a part of the Kenya Assemblies of God (KAG), recently received a children’s church structure from Africa’s Children and Teens — made possible because of your generosity. The church was already known for its exceptional ministry to the next generation, but incredible opportunities began to take shape when the structure was finished.
Two boys from the community heard that there was a church with a place for children to learn about Jesus, out of the hot Kenya sun. They could hardly believe it, so they had to see it for themselves. That first Sunday, they were thrilled to find a church that cared enough about children to build a space just for them.
The following week, they walked the three miles to church, telling every child they met along the way and inviting them to come.
Today, those two boys are bringing dozens of new boys and girls to hear about Jesus at the church known in their community for loving children.
That is the power of a space made for kids. A children’s church structure is more than just a roof. It is a welcome, an outward declaration that children matter, and a place where they can be taught and discipled.
Thanks to partners like you, we recently sent funding to Kenya Assemblies of God to build 13 more children’s church structures, bringing our total to just under 100 over the last four years.
The National Director of Children’s Ministry for KAG shares, “Through the funds, we have constructed structures that have changed the children’s worship services. We have seen attendance increase and a lot of discipleship taking place.”
Thank you for investing in Africa’s next generation. Together, we can build more places where youth discover Jesus, and where one invitation can reach dozens more. Because every child and teen deserves a healthy church within walking distance.
